Sigh....
No progress on the baby front. Our due date will come and go without any internal changes from last week. We are still very pregnant and Lucy is clearly happy to hang out inside.
I'm told by the doctor:
"Don't worry, most babies are late."
"You could go anytime; see you next week." (These two phrases together do not give me much hope.)
I was also told to have sex. It's not often that the medical community will prescribe such a thing. There's nothing wrong with it, but I've never had a medical person tell me to do it before. It's such a switcharoo from all the "don't have sex!" messages from my youth. There will be no details on this activity if it should occur. Remember, I am 40 weeks pregnant.
